I currently live in Tucson, Arizona and work professionally as an electrical engineer specializing in hardware and systems design and integration.

My real love is math. how I landed in engineering is a long story, but without engineering I would still have an aversion to statistics. I was an applied math undergrad, but at the time I was not a big fan of statistics. once I started working professionally, I kept realizing that I needed stats to help with my job and wishing I had better tools. I decided to return to school and was awarded a master's degree in statistics & data science from the university of arizona.

I also have a passion for music. My favorite instrument is guitar, but I also play bass, piano, and I sing. I have a home studio where I record and produce music. There is always music playing at home. I'll be adding some blog posts about music things soon.

Many other hobbies occupy my personal time, like photography, film, swimming, and whitewater kayaking whenever I get the chance.
