I currently live in Tucson, Arizona and work professionally as an electrical engineer specializing in hardware and systems design & integration.

My educational background, however, is in mathematics. I didn't originally intend to enter engineering professionally, but I got my first job in automotive engineering and it turned into a good fit.

Throughout my career, I found that I was able to apply some of my math skills, but it more often than not required some statistical knowledge. After enough time wishing I had better tools in statistics I decided to return to school, and in 2024 was awarded a MS in Statistics & Data Science from the University of Arizona.

In my personal life, I have a passion for music. My favorite instrument is guitar, but I also play bass, piano, and I sing. At home I have a studio where I record and produce music. I have music playing in my home around the clock. I'll be adding some blog posts about music things soon.

Many other hobbies occupy my personal time, like photography, film, swimming, and whitewater kayaking whenever I get the chance.
