i currently live in tucson, arizona and work professionally as an electrical engineer specializing in hardware and systems design.

my real love is math. how i landed in engineering is a long story, but without engineering i would still have an aversion to statistics, despite having been an applied math undergrad. stats kept coming up, and i kept wishing i had better tools, so i went back to school and was recently awarded a master's degree in statistics & data science from the university of arizona.

i also have a passion for music. i play guitar, bass, and piano, and i sing. i have a home studio where i record and produce music. there is always music playing at home. i'll be adding some blog posts about music things soon.

many other hobbies occupy my personal time, like photography, film, swimming, and whitewater kayaking whenever i get the chance.
